A virality score is only useful if it teaches you something

A bare number — '87/100' — tells you almost nothing actionable. It's a black box: trust it or don't.

The more useful version pairs the score with a plain-English reason: 'Strong hook in the first 3 seconds, clear payoff by 0:22, natural loop-back ending.' Now you're not just picking a clip — you're learning what makes a clip work, which changes how you record next time.

Over a few dozen clips, that compounds. Creators start noticing patterns in their own content before the AI even flags them, which is really the end goal of any clip-scoring feature: make itself less necessary over time by teaching good instincts.
